BACOLOD CITY: With tropical depression “Auring” entering the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) on Wednesday, Gov. Eugenio Jose Lacson issued a “heightened alert” status in the entire province.
Dr. Zephard Caelian, head of the Negros Occidental Provincial Disaster Management Program Division said the typhoon might hit the central part of the province if it does not change course and is expected to make a landfall on February 21 or 22.
