THE Department of Energy (DoE) has urged that power supply stability in the Visayas and Mindanao (VisMin) be further improved in preparation for the coming summer months and the rollout of the government’s Covid-19 vaccine program.

Last week, the DoE, through the DoE-Electric Power Industry Management Bureau (Epimb), convened power stakeholders in the Visayas and Mindanao to tackle the VisMin Power Outlook for 2021 and the possible issues that may affect the power situation in the two regions.
