IF we were to classify the talkative ones based on gender, who do you think would win? Former Japanese Prime Minister and Tokyo Olympic Committee head Yoshiro Mori has the answer: “women talk too much.” The 83-year old Mori caused a public uproar two weeks ago when he was reported telling the Japan Olympic Committee Council on the matter of increasing the number of women in the Olympic board to 40 percent.

“Board of directors meetings with many women take a lot of time,” Mori said. “When you increase the number of female executive members, if their speaking time isn’t restricted to a certain extent, they have difficulty finishing, which is annoying,” according to a report by Forbes (2021).
