CAUAYAN CITY: Itbayat Mayor Raul de Sagon of Batanes passed away at the age of 59 on Tuesday because of a lingering kidney ailment, his relatives said.
He was brought to the Itbayat District Hospital and was supposed to be transferred by chopper to Basco General Hospital for hemoglobin and blood transfusion.
