MALACANANG on Saturday announced that it was no longer mandatory for travelers to undergo coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) testing and quarantine.

This, after the Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF) approved on Friday the uniform travel protocols for land, air, and sea that need to be observed by all local government units (LGUs), Palace spokesman Harry Roque Jr. said in a statement.
