Young Filipinos trained by the European Union-funded program are now members of a family that reaches as far as Pakistan, Bangladesh, Uganda and Somalia.

Amid recent attacks from violent extremist groups and incidents of conflict exacerbated by the Covid-19 pandemic, a program funded by the European Union (EU) and supported by the Kofi Annan Foundation (KAF) was launched with the aim of training young Filipinos to promote peace and prevent violent extremism.
