PRESIDENT Rodrigo Duterte has expressed his desire to bring coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) vaccination to the slum areas, saying that poor Filipinos remain a priority when it comes to inoculating against the infections.
In his weekly public address aired over state-run PTV-4 on Monday evening, Duterte said all government agencies could contribute by deploying "traveling units" that would go to slum areas and provide immunization to poor families who do not have means to travel to hospitals.
