Social Housing Finance Corporation (SHFC), the lead government agency mandated to undertake socialized housing for low-income families, has sealed a joint partnership with the local government of Lavezares in Northern Samar for the implementation of the Community Mortgage Program in the municipality.
SHFC President Atty. Arnolfo Ricardo Cabling and Mayor Edito Saludaga inked the agreement in a virtual ceremony held on February 11. Under the deal, SHFC will finance the lot acquisition, site development, and construction of housing units for 1,600 families from the island barangays of the town.
