THE Manila City government suspended all Holy Week activities as the city prepares for the “worst possible scenario” after Covid-19 cases reached the 2,000 mark.

Mayor Francisco “Isko Moreno” Domagoso on Friday announced the suspension of the religious holiday celebration, saying it was only “logical” to prevent large public gatherings that might become superspreader events.
