Women-led beauty brands mark milestones

While it will make more sense for women to call the shots in the beauty industry that primarily caters to other women, the reality is men still dominate the billion-dollar beauty business.

According to the 2016 Gender Equality Index by LedBetter, the industry only has 29 percent of women leadership. That’s less than 3 out of 10 executive positions for women.
