Trees stand tall inside the Arroceros Forest Park in Manila as the world observes International Day of the Forest on March 21, 2021. The event raises awareness on the importance of forests and their role in poverty eradication, environmental sustainability and food security. The 2.2-hectare park is home to more than 3,000 species of trees and is called the ‘Lung for the City of Manila’ as it reduces carbon dioxide and removes 30 tons of
