THIS was the admonition of the “Star Wars” character, Master Yoda, to a young Luke Skywalker, who was training to become a Jedi knight. Yoda’s message couldn’t be clearer: either one is totally committed or not at all. There is no middle ground. There is no room for a half-hearted response, especially to things that matter the most.
