The government has warned the public against using the anti-parasitic drug Ivermectin as a possible cure for Covid-19, calling it “dangerous.”
A group of doctors called the Concerned Doctors and Citizens of the Philippines (CDCph) has urged the Department of Health (DoH) to consider the drug as a possible prophylaxis treatment for the viral disease, citing early studies that are not yet peer-reviewed.
