State-owned National Power Corp. (Napocor) and National Transmission Corp. (Transco) are aiming to to provide electricity to some 30,000 unserved households this year, according to the Department of Finance (DoF).

In a statement on Thursday, the DoF said Napocor and Transco told Finance Secretary Carlos Dominguez 3rd that they are targeting to add 45.31 megawatts of power capacity, 71.3 circuit kilometers (km) of transmission lines and a 45-megavolt amp substation this year.
