An executive order extending the compliance period for Comprehensive Automotive Resurgence Strategy (CARS) program participants is expected to be released by May or June this year, a trade official said.
Trade Undersecretary and Board of Investments (BOI) managing head Ceferino Rodolfo in a virtual briefing said the Department of Trade and Industry is working on the executive order, the extension time for the compliance on the volume requirement without relaxing the volume requirement.
