The number of unemployed individuals rose by 234,000 in February this year, a survey conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority said.
In a briefing on Tuesday, National Statistician Claire Dennis Mapa said that based on the results of their latest Labor Force Survey (LFS), 4.2 million were classified as unemployed in February, higher than the 4.0 million recorded in January.
