Monetary authorities have ordered a rural bank in Occidental Mindoro closed and placed under receivership.
In an advisory on Tuesday, state-run Philippine Deposit Insurance Corp. (PDIC) announced that Occidental Mindoro Rural Bank, Inc. was ordered closed by the Monetary Board of the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas last March 25.
