The “Golden Boy” of pro boxing, Oscar De La Hoya, wants fight fans to believe that he still has what it takes to beat the top fighters in the middleweight and junior middleweight divisions.
De La Hoya is apparently so confident of his skills that he has penciled a return to the boxing ring on July 3. He claimed he wanted to figure in a real fight and even mentioned reigning IBF middleweight king Gennady “Triple G” Golovkin as a possible opponent.
