Leading renewable energy developer Energy Development Corp. (EDC) has remitted P4.16 million to an electric cooperative in Negros Oriental for hosting their geothermal plants.
Negros Oriental 1 Electric Cooperative Inc. (Noreco 1) is the host of the Lopez-led company’s 222.5-megawatt (MW) Southern Negros geothermal facility, including its Green Core Geothermal Inc. (GCGI) subsidiary in Valencia town.
