State-owned Overseas Filipino Bank (OFBank) recently secured a digital banking license from the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas, the Department of Finance (DoF) announced, making it the first digital-only lender in the country.
In a statement over the weekend, the DoF said the central bank’s policy-making Monetary Board issued OFBank’s digital banking license last March 25.
