A VIROLOGY expert from the World Health Organization (WHO) headquarters in Geneva, Switzerland, is helping the Department of Health (DoH) classify and control the variants of the coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) in the country.
The consultant, who arrived last week, has been working with the health department and another team of consultants from WHO’s Philippines country office, Health Undersecretary Maria Rosario Vergeire said during a media briefing on Monday.
