HOW can democracy be democratic?

Until Congress (Senate and lower House) can legislate good governance, wisdom and selfless traits for our elected and appointed officials, it has no reason to continue to exist. Or else, our legislators’ tendency would always be to do things to make the nation stray farther away from the Promised Land in order to be “relevant.” My call to abolish Congress (The Manila Times, March 18, 2021) is serious. Abolishing it means abolishing squander, impotence and folly.
