In its consolidated third quarter financial filing, which was not audited, 8990 Holdings Inc. (HOUSE) reported 50 million preferred shares, 9 billion fixed rate bonds, and 5,391,399,020 outstanding common shares. It has a 12-person board, according to the website of the Philippine Stock Exchange (PSE), with Mariano D. Martinez Jr. as chairman. Alexander Ace Sotto, is both a director and chief operating officer (COO).

A public ownership report (POR) as of Dec. 31, 2020 and posted Jan. 15, 2021 on PSE website, 8990 Holdings listed Martinez as direct and indirect holder of 170,895,967 House common shares, or 3.17 percent of 5,391,399,020 outstanding common shares, and Sotto with directly owned 100 common shares. Roan Buenaventura-Torregoza indirectly held 1,500 common shares.

As of Sept. 30, 2020, HOUSE said it had to change the entries in its consolidated third quarter financial as of Dec. 31, 2020 to reflect its P9- billion fixed rate bonds and 50-million preferred shares. Its outstanding remains at 5,391,399,020 common shares.

8990 Holdings peaked at a 30-day high of P8.90 on Dec. 15, 2020 when it opened at P8.87; dropped to P8.76; and closed at P8.78. It fell to a 30-day low of P7.10 on Jan. 19, 2021 when it opened at P7.60; climbed to P7.91; and closed at P7.75.

Lester Co Yu is a director of the seven-man board, president and chief executive officer (CEO) of Fruitas Holdings Inc. (FRUIT). On Jan. 22, 2021, he increased his ownership to 1,348,117,010 common shares, or 63.1827 percent, from 1,347,617,010 common shares, or 63.1593 percent, by his acquisition of additional 500,000 common shares at P1.63 per share. The transaction cost him P815,000.

As of Dec. 31, 2020, Yu directly owned 123.117 million common shares and indirectly held 1,224,500,010 common shares, according to FRUIT’s POR. His direct and indirect holdings totaled 1,347,617,010 FRUIT common shares, or 63.16 percent. This made him the company’s majority stockholder.

Fruitas Holdings attributed 775,815,990 common shares, or 36.36 percent, to public stockholders.

 

The same filing showed the acquisition of 200,000 FRUIT common shares at P1.615 per share by Calvin Fenix Chua, director and chief financial adviser. The acquisition increased his holdings to 4.209 million common shares, or 0.1973 percent, from 4.009 million common shares, or 0.1879 percent.

On Jan. 22, 2021, FRUIT opened at P1.66; gained one centavo at P1.67; dropped to P1.61; and finished trading at its opening of P1.66. It peaked at a 30-day high of P1.88 on Dec. 16, 2020 when it opened at P1.77; dropped to session low of P1.74; and closed at P1.75. It fell to a 30-day low of P1.53 on Dec. 4, 2020 when it opened at 30-day and session low of P1.53; hit a session high of P1.67l; and closed at P1.66.

As of Dec. 31, 2020, which was posted on the website of the Philippine Stock Exchange (PSE) on Jan. 5, 2021, Aboitiz Power Corp. (AP) showed public stockholders owned 1,419,307,421 common shares, or 19.29 percent, according to AP’s POR, which listed publicly traded Aboitiz Equity Ventures Inc. (AEV) as direct holder of 5,666,129,583 common shares, or 77 percent of 7,358,604,307 outstanding common shares, which are also AP’s listed and issued common shares, according to the PSE website.

In a 2020 general information sheet (GIS), AP had 598 Filipino and foreigner stockholders as holders of 7,358,604,307 outstanding common shares, or 43.286 percent of 17 billion authorized capital stock divided into 16 billion common shares and 1 billion preferred shares.

Erramon I. Aboitiz is AP’s top stockholder, according to the GIS. He directly held 1,300,001 common shares, or 0.0177 percent, and indirectly owned 85,597,214 common shares, or 1.1632 percent, for a total of 86,897,215 common shares, or 1.181 percent. The other included Mikel A. Aboitiz, direct and indirect 23,844,160 common shares, or 0.324 percent; Enrique M. Aboitiz, 1,138,658 common shares, or 0.015 percent; Jaime Jose Y. Aboitiz, 10,086,699 common shares, or 0.137 percent; and Daniel C. Aboitiz, 4,540,796 common shares, or 0.062 percent.

Aboitis Power peaked at a 30-day high of P28.20 on Dec. 17, 2020 when it opened at P27.90; dropped to session low of P27.40; and closed at session low of P27.40. It fell to a 30-day low of P25.75 on Jan. 20, 2021 when it opened at session high of P26.50 and closed at its 30-day and session low of P25.75.
