A bill pushing for the designation of a special working holiday for both medical and non-medical frontliners was filed in the House of Representatives on Tuesday.
House Bill 9159 or the "Frontliners Recognition Act" by Manila 1st District Rep. Manuel Luis “Manny” T. Lopez proposes a "National Day of Mourning and Remembrance for Covid-19 frontliners." It will be dedicated to those who have died while fighting against the pandemic.
