THE country's new cases of the coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) in a single day dropped slightly for the first time in four days, the Department of Health (DoH) said on Tuesday.
The DoH said despite the lower number of infections at 8,571, positivity rate remained high with 18.3 percent or 5,106 of the 27,900 samples tested yielding positive results.
