The registration of voters remains suspended in the National Capital Region (NCR) and the provinces of Bulacan, Rizal, Cavite and Laguna, as well as in Santiago City in Isabela and the provinces of Abra and Quirino, which were all placed under the modified enhanced community quarantine (MECQ), the Commission on Elections said.
Comelec spokesman James Jimenez said on Tuesday that no voter registration would be conducted in these areas from April 12 to 30.
