Judges from the lower courts on Monday sought a hazard pay during the Covid-19 pandemic.
In a meeting with the Supreme Court en banc, officers and members of the Philippine Judges Association, Philippine Trial Judges League Inc., Philippine Women Judges Association, Metropolitan and City Judges Association of the Philippines and Philippine Association of Court Employees proposed to Chief Justice Alexander Gesmundo a hazard pay of P5,000 for Metropolitan Trial Court judges and P8,000 for Regional Trial Court judges.
