ALMOST 400,000 workers in the tourism sector displaced by the Covid-19 pandemic will each receive P5,000 cash aid from the Department of Labor and Employment (DoLE).
Labor Secretary Silvestre Bello 3rd said on Tuesday that funding would come from the Covid-19 Adjustment Measures Program (CAMP), a one-time cash assistance program to formal workers affected by the pandemic.
