THE Philippines recorded another dip in the number of new coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) cases on Wednesday although the Deoartment of Health (DoH) said the decrease was "artificial'" because of the low output of results in designated Covid laboratories.
The 8,122 new infections raised the total number of cases in the country to 892,880, from which 173,047 are active. Of these, 99 percent are mild, moderate or asymptomatic.
