ZAMBOANGA CITY: A roadside explosion injured a soldier and a civilian in the village of Baguindan in Tipo-Tipo town, Basilan province.
Lt. Gen. Corleto Vinluan Jr., chief of the Western Mindanao Command, confirmed Monday’s attack. He said a group of soldiers were patrolling the village when an improvised explosive device (IED) went off.
