MORE than two weeks since the stories about the health of President Duterte became viral in the mainstream and social media, there were still many who doubted the assertions of Palace spokesman Secretary Harry Roque Jr. and the assurances of the closest friend of the President, Sen. Bong Go, that the President was alive and well. Until last Monday evening, when the President appeared in a pre-recorded television broadcast telling his critics to “pray harder.”

To many of those concerned about the health of the President, only a definitive “proof of life” would convince them that he is alive, well, healthy and regularly doing his myriad tasks either in Davao or inside the Palace.
