AN alleged suicide bomber and two others linked to the Abu Sayyaf Group were killed in an encounter with government troops in Patikul Sulu, a military official said on Saturday.
Colonel Benjamin Batara Jr. of the 11th Infantry Division identified two of the slain insurgents as Kuta Heneral Teodulfo Bautista of Jolo, Sulu, an Egyptian known as alias Yusop, and Abu Khattab Jundullah alias Saddam, a trained explosive maker. A third remains unidentified.
