MORE than 120 petitions for the registration of new party-list organizations were filed with the Commission on Elections (Comelec) as of March 31, the last day for filing as mandated by Comelec Resolution 10690.
March 31 was also the last day for the filing of petitions for registration of political parties intending to participate in the party-list system of representation and existing party-list groups’ manifestations of intent to participate in the forthcoming 2022 national and local elections.
