Our civil society organization, Oceana, is urging the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) to immediately order its contractor to stop dumping new loads of crushed dolomite on the baywalk area of the Manila Bay.
Our appeal is based on news that fresh coats of dolomite sand were placed on Manila Bay early Wednesday morning, April 14, 2021 by several backhoe operators, pouring and leveling crushed dolomite rocks there.
