New technology keeps vitamins in fresh produce longer

It has been a common scenario — shoppers excitedly buy fresh produce for the week only to find their purchases wilted or dried out just a few days after storing it in their refrigerator.

Hoping to prevent this scenario — which often lead to food disposal — appliance brand Beko has launched in Philippine market its HarvestFresh, a refrigerator technology that preserves the freshness and vitamins of fruits and vegetables longer.
