PRESIDENT Rodrigo Duterte wants community pantries to continue as they help Filipinos severely affected by the coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) pandemic, Malacañang said on Wednesday, after the first pantry in Quezon City closed down amid the owner's fears that she was being red-tagged .
Palace spokesman Harry Roque Jr. said Duterte lauded Filipinos for organizing community pantries across the country for food donation and other essentials to those affected by the pandemic.
