SEN. Ana Theresia “Risa” Hontiveros on Thursday urged the Philippine Health Insurance Corp. (PhilHealth) to upgrade dialysis coverage from 90 to 144 sessions amid the pandemic.
The senator backed the call of advocacy groups urging PhilHealth to increase the free dialysis coverage because the pandemic has brought an “unjust” burden on Filipinos.
