SAYING eruption was still possible, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) announced on Saturday that the Alert Level 2 status at Taal Volcano will remain despite more than a week of low seismic activity.
Interviewed by The Manila Times, Phivolcs chief Renato Solidum said the possibility of steam-driven or phreatic eruption was high in the volcano in Batangas province.
