TWO members of the House of Representatives questioned the grants provided by foreign private organizations to the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), saying it is illegal.
Deputy Speaker Deogracias Victor “DV” Savellano and PBA Party-list Rep. Jericho Nograles said the receipt of private funding by the FDA in exchange for policies for noncombustible alternatives to cigarettes violates the Constitution.
