AMMAN: Jordan decided to lift the nationwide lockdown effective 12 noon (5 p.m. in Manila) on Friday, April 30, to allow people to go to work freely and avoid more job losses.

At a press conference in Amman, Jordan’s Minister of State for Media Affairs Sakher Dudin said the partial curfew would remain in place, but the worshippers will be allowed to head to mosques on foot for Isha (night) and Taraweeh (night optional) prayers.
