Listed Cemex Holdings Philippines Inc. netted P205 million in January to March, up from the P89 million it recorded in the same period last year.

In a disclosure on Friday, the cement manufacturer attributed the better register of its quarterly income to the 78-percent decrease in financial expenses, which reflects lower debt levels and declining interest rates.
