The local bourse opened the month of May flat as sentiment remained “subdued” amid the lingering worries on the pace of the country’s economic recovery.

The bellwether Philippine Stock Exchange index (PSEi) inched down by 0.03 percent or 1.59 points to its intraday low of 6,369.28, while the broader All Shares shed 0.001 percent or 0.03 points to finish at 3,923 on Monday.
