Covid deaths in April higher than last year’s peak - Duque

Health Secretary Francisco Duque 3rd said that Covid-19 deaths in April this year surpassed the peak seen in the country last year.

“Sa kasamaang palad nalagpasan na po ang ating kasalukuyang peak, ang pinakamataas na naitala noong nakaraang taon (Unfortunately, we have already surpassed the previous peak recorded last year),” Duque said during the meeting of some of the members of the Duterte Cabinet on Monday.
