THE Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) and the Department of the Interior Local Government (DILG) on Tuesday assured that they were "prepared" for the third tranche of the social amelioration program (SAP) under the proposed Bayanihan 3.
This comes after AKO Bicol Party-list Rep. Alfredo Garbin, Jr. appealed to the agencies to start drafting policies and mechanisms "as early as now" to ensure "swift" distribution of funds. The lawmaker pointed out that implementation was a major problem in the previous dole outs.
