INCOMING Philippine National Police (PNP) chief Guillermo Eleazar accepted the "challenges" of his new post, among them good leadership and meeting the high expectations of Filipinos, following the announcement of his appointment by President Rodrigo Duterte on Wednesday.
At the same time, the 24th head of the 210,000-strong national police force expressed his gratitude to the President for choosing him to be one of his instruments in ensuring "a well-disciplined and professional police force" will "enforce the law and serve and protect the Filipino people".
