Education continuity: Defying the pandemic

THE education sector, here and in other parts of the world, faces an uphill battle in fulfilling its mandate of educating children during a pandemic that shows no signs of dissipating.

The problem confronting the Education department and stakeholders is not limited to finding ways to provide a safe learning system that protects students, teachers and other personnel. The bigger concern is ensuring that learning will continue, that there will be no pause in the provision of learning to the youth.
