Maternity leave

Dear PAO,

My sister learned that she is 20 weeks pregnant. She and her husband were not planning on having another baby, as they already have four children and their youngest is already eight years old. While they feel happy and surprised, my sister cannot help but feel anxious because she thinks she will be back to square one with caring for a baby. Also, she is unsure if her private employer will still give her maternity leave since this will be her fifth child already. Do you think she can still avail of maternity leave once she gives birth to this baby?
