THE Philippines is expecting to receive coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) vaccines developed by Pfizer-BioNTech and AstraZeneca from the World Health Organization-led Covax facility this May, vaccine czar Carlito Galvez Jr. announced on Wednesday.
In a televised meeting with President Rodrigo Duterte, Galvez said that 1.3 million doses of Pfizer and around one or two million doses of British-Swedish vaccine AstraZeneca would be delivered.
