Duterte-Carpio debate on West Philippine Sea won't benefit country -- senators

A debate between President Rodrigo Duterte and former Senior Associate Justice (SAJ) Antonio Carpio on the West Philippine Sea (WPS) is not necessary as the country won't benefit from it, according to senators.

Carpio has accepted the debate challenge of the President, and the Philippine Bar Association even offered to host and moderate to provide a “balanced arena” for the two lawyers.
