MARAWI CITY: Sheik Malo Manonggiring, acting director of the Bureau of Pilgrimage and Endowment of the National Commission on Muslim Filipinos, on Wednesday prayed for both Christian and Muslim Filipinos in the Philippines as 1.8 billion Muslims worldwide prepared to celebrate Laylatul Qadr or “Night of Prayer,” which leads to the last 10 days of the Muslim holy month of Ramadan.

In an interview, Manonggiring said, “We wish the Laylatul Qadr in this blessed month of Ramadan to heal this nation, so everyone should continue praying and working for good deeds and for the health and economy of this land to continue to prosper.”
